ELDERLY north Essex residents could qualify for a free holiday.

The National Benevolent Fund for the Aged provides free holidays for older people who are living on a low income.

Each break is for five nights at a UK resort and includes coach travel, bed, breakfast, a three course evening meal, nightly entertainment and daily excursions.

The next holiday will take place in Felixstowe from March 27 to April 1, with coach pick-ups from Ipswich, Colchester and Chelmsford.
