The Empire Theatre will be taking music lovers on a trip down memory lane during a fun filled evening.

Three award winning acts will be taking to the stage during A Night of 50’s/ 60s Nostalgia which will see hits from the likes of Cliff Richard and Sandy Shaw recreated.

First up will be Peter Brazil who is a multi instrumentalist singer and songwriter from Ireland.

Pete is a former all England chromatic junior accordion champion and has since branched out and learned to play the guitar and other instruments.

Having recorded and toured with songwriter Charlie Landsborough for 13 years, he went on to form a partnership with his uncle Jim Blake.

Pete now performs solo following the death of his uncle last year, and his act is described as varied and entertaining.

The second act lined up for this night of great music is Bob Keeley.

Bob has won numerous solo artist of the year awards and will be well-versed with the Fifties, which is when he first began playing music.

He spent a year with cover band Rockafellas in 1986 and despite discovering a new love for country music in the Nineties, Bob still enjoys playing those classic rock and roll songs from his youth.

The final act of the evening will see the return of two multi-award winning singer/songwriters, Cardy and Coke.

The duo, who are also referred to as Wes & Jan, have been singing in unison since December 1986.

Having spent time as support acts for famous names including Gerry & The Pacemakers, Marty Wild and The Bachelors, they have gone on to become well known faces on the club, festival and theatre scene both at home and abroad.

This night of top music will take place on Sunday, October 21.

Proceedings will get underway from 7pm and doors will open at 6.30pm.

Tickets start from £14 and can be purchased by calling the Empire Theatre Box Office on 07778 025490. Alternatively visit, bit.ly/2nkI8Sy.
