So Giles Coode-Adams (Letters, July 12) thinks West Tey would be “hell”. What an insult to people that is.

Home is where the heart is, an expression that everyone relates to wherever they live, be it a high-rise flat or a castle.

Should not everyone be given the opportunity to obtain this?

With the housing shortage and the councils under pressure to supply these homes, then isn’t this a reason to support garden communities where a community and homes with a heart can be created for future generations?
