Essex Police has called on people to report incidents of antisocial behaviour in Butler Road.
The force said it had not had any reports so far this year about problems on the road in Halstead.
A spokesman urged people to report any problems so they can investigated and resources deployed to the area.
He said: “Anti-social behaviour can have big impact on people’s lives and we take reports of it very seriously.
“Since the beginning of the year we’ve had a number of reports of incidents in the area which covers Butler Road but none about antisocial behaviour.
“Without information about issues relating to antisocial behaviour our resources will be deployed to other parts of the district to respond to incidents which have been reported.
“We would strongly encourage residents to report all matters of antisocial behaviour so that the intelligence picture can be built up and by working with Halstead Town Council in a partnership approach this matter can be addressed.”
To report any issues call police on 101.
