THE sun shone on Stow Maries Great War aerodrome at the weekend as it welcomed its first Wings and Wheels flying display of the season.
The site was graced with more than 100 vintage, classic and heritage vehicles for the public to get up close and personal with.
The BE2 opened the display in all its glory, followed by the SE-5A, Miles Magister, Percival Mew Gull, DH60 Cirrus Moth, the Blackburn B.2 and Isaacs Fury.
Visitors soaked up the scenes with a beer in one hand and a burger in the other.
