A speedy six-year-old has started his journey to the top of the racing circuit.

But Henry Domain, from, Sible Hedingham needs sponsors help to fulfil his dream of becoming the next Lewis Hamilton.

The Toppesfield Primary School pupil is the youngest driver competing in this year’s Bambino BKC championship.

In the first race of the season at Whilton Mill, Northampton on Sunday, he placed an impressive sixth out of 32 drivers.

Racing runs in Henry’s blood with both his dad and grandfather having been drivers, and his dad in particular is heavily involved in the youngster’s career.

Henry’s eventual goal is to make it to the top of the Formula One pecking order, and he certainly has time and talent on his side.

“I love karting because I learn race craft, I love having team mates and I love it because it is how the Formula One drivers started,” Henry said.

“My favourite part of karting is overtaking late on the brakes as it shows off my driving skills and helping daddy.

“When I am older I want to be Formula One world champion.”

Racing is an expensive hobby and his family need to find businesses willing to sponsor Henry to help pay for things like fuel, transport to and from races and equipment.

In return, sponsors will be advertised on Henry’s vehicle, his website, and get to meet the ambitious speed demon himself.

Family friend Lotte Draper said: “He wants to be the next Lewis Hamilton, as he crosses the finish line in races he does the same celebration.

“He know what he wants and on race days he is the zone.

“He always wants feedback on his driving and wants to improve.

“A little or big donation is helping keep him going.

“This is about helping a little boy achieve his dream.”
