An escape room which launched in Maldon last month has proved so successful new dates have been added.

The Escape Network launched the interactive puzzle experience at the Museum in the Park during February half term.

Now due to its success further dates in March have been added and organisers still hope it can become a permanent feature.

A new game was specifically created for the Maldon museum.

Called the Park Keeper’s Child it is set in the museum, which was once home to the keeper for Promenade Park.

A spokesman for the Escape Network said: “We are excited to be working with the Maldon Museum to bring Escape the Room experiences to Maldon.

“The museum makes a great venue filled with fascinating and curious items.

“Escape the Room games are challenging, exciting and great fun.

“The game is designed for adults, but we are always impressed at how much younger players can contribute and make no restrictions on participants ages, however, the game is challenging and not all teams will be successful.”

There are now available dates on Tuesday, March 6, and on March 20.

Groups of three to six people can take part for £65.
