THE date for the hearing into an appeal by a marina over two council decisions and an enforcement notice has been set.
Port Flair in Bradwell-on-Sea applied to Maldon District Council to change the use of land associated with Bradwell Marina to a static caravan park for holiday use with 70 units, an office block and car parking.
They also applied to constructed an earth enclosure, which residents nick-named "The Great Wall of Bradwell" around the land on Waterside Road.
The marina built the earth mounds but their initial application was rejected in March, with the council issuing an enforcement notice to take them down.
The marina has appealed against the enforcement notice, plus the decision to turn down both planning applications.
The hearing date for the appeal has been set for Tuesday February 27 at the Maldon District Council offices in Princes Road, Maldon at 10am.
