Four people have been arrested following a dramatic 45-minute chase through rural spots of north Essex.
The incident, which took place during the early hours of Friday morning, saw police officers chase a white BMW from Halstead all the way to Marks Tey.
The chase was brought to an end following a police sting operation which led to the BMW wrapped around a road sign.
Four people have been arrested on suspicion of burglary following the chase.

It was also discovered the BMW in which they were in was stolen and was displaying fake licence plates.
