TWO cars mounted the pavement in Colchester last night.
The emergency services were called to Berechurch Hall Road at about 5.50pm.
A red car pulled out of Wethersfield Road onto Berechurch Hall Road, causing a silver Renault Megane to swerve into a white Vauxhall Agila. The red vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
Four people were injured, three sustaining minor injuries. The other person, a woman aged in her 70s, suffered chest injuries and remains in hospital for treatment.
