Part of listed building in town centre to be converted into home
PART of a listed building in Halstead's town centre will be converted into a home.
9 Bridge Street is owned by Haylock Investment Management Services, but the first floor will be converted a two bedroom dwelling after change of use plans gained approval from Braintree District Council.
The building is Grade II listed, with a ridged and hipped roof with slate covering.
Internally, the ground floor will remain unchanged apart from the addition of a bathroom.
