A HOST of top children’s TV stars are set to return to the Empire Theatre.

You may recognise Callum Donnelly, Richard Franks and Robin Hatcher as the stars of the popular hit CBeebies TV show ‘SPOTBOTS’.

They also recently joined Justin Fletcher on the brand new series of ‘Justin’s House’.

The fun-loving hilarious trio are setting sail to bring their hilarious take on the classic Treasure Island to theatres across the country.

The audience will be taken on an amazing and memorable trip into a world of pirates, treasure and mermaids — as one of the nation’s favourite children’s novels is brought to life with a lively, and very child friendly, modern twist.

The intrepid trio bring to life classic characters Jim Hawkins, Old Ben Gunn, Billy Bones, Sneaky Beaky the pirates parrot, and of course crowd favourite Long John Silver, to life with action and adventure aplenty on the horizon.

This laugh a minute show is jam-packed with shanties, cheering, booing, puppets, lots of colourful costumes, amazing sets, slapstick comedy and maybe even a monkey or two.

The show has been advertised as “a spectacular children’s show created to spark the children’s imagination whilst also entertaining all the accompanying Mums, Dads, Grandmas and Granddads! It features a professional cast of all singing and-a-dancing actors.”

Callum Donnelly and Robin Hatcher brought their hit Christmas show ‘Santa and the Pirates (that don’t want Christmas)’ to the Empire Theatre during the festive season, and their hoping to follow up one hit with another.

The entertaining trio rose to comedy fame with their family friendly comedy sketch ‘Three Half Pints’.

Ideal for all the family, the question is ‘Araaargh you ready yet?

The trio will take to the stage at 2pm on March 4.
