RESIDENTS concerned about hearing loss can get a free check at Halstead Library next week.
Visitors will be able to receive a free hearing check and get a range of advice and information.
National hearing charity Action on Hearing Loss will be running a special drop in session on January 24, between 10am and 12pm.
Cllr Anne Brown, Cabinet Member responsible for Libraries at Essex County Council, said: “We are increasingly seeing our libraries used as hubs for the community to utilise.
"Hearing loss is an infliction that can have a significant impact on people’s lives and I would advise anyone who has concerns to come along.”
For more information, please call the library on 01787 473431.
