AN IMPRESSIVE Genesis tribute act is to wow audiences at the Empire Theatre with a string of top hits spanning from the 70s onwards.

“Genesis Connected” celebrate the songs of Genesis as well as the acts connected to them.

The group will reel off hit after hit from Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins and Mike & the Mechanics.

The Genesis Connected frontman, Peter Bultitude is not only a talented performer and versatile vocalist, but much like Phil Collins he is also a gifted drummer.

Fans can expect the show to include the iconic “double drums” element as featured on every Genesis and Phil Collins tour.

Stars in Their Eyes finalist and front man of “and finally... Phil Collins”, Peter and his band will perform all the hits including Turn it on Again, In the Air Tonight, Solsbury Hill, You Can’t Hurry Love, The Living Years and many more in this one-of-a-kind performance.

Genesis are an English rock band formed at Charterhouse School, Surrey in 1967.

The most successful and long lasting line up comprised of keyboardist Tony Banks, guitar and bassist Mike Rutherford and drummer and singer Phil Collins.

Lead singer Peter Gabriel and guitarist Steve Hackett are also credited with playing hugely important roles in the bands development.

In the 1980s, Genesis became a highly successful pop band, selling millions of records.

This shift in sound, style and aesthetics can be attributed to their frontmen during these two very different eras, Peter Gabriel in the 1970s and Phil Collins in the 1980s.

Both Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins went on to have hugely successful careers away from Genesis, as did several other original members.

Genesis Connected pay tribute not only to the group’s collective success, but also to the successes of individuals after they left the band.

Tickets are £16 for the performance on October 22.
