TWO men who were arrested by police investigating the suspected murder of Chris May have been re-bailed. 

Chris May, 28, disappeared after visiting his dad in Mount Road, Coggeshall, at around 9.45am on May 25, 2015.

Two men were arrested a month after a heartfelt appeal by his family on the anniversary of his disappearance. 

A man, 35, from Braintree, was arrested on suspicion of his murder during a pre-planned raid at around 6am on June 14. 

A second man, 25, from Kelvedon, was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in relation to Chris’ murder.

Both were taken for questioning and released on bail. They have now been re-bailed until late August. 

DCI Marina Ericson formally declared the investigation into the disappearance of Mr May, from Kelvedon, as a murder investigation on the year anniversary, May 25.
