A GUACAMOLE dip sold in several supermarket chains has been recalled because it may contain Salmonella.
Manufacturer Bakkavor supplies the dip to retailers including the Co-op, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Waitrose.
The Food Standards Agency has issued a notice warning of the "possible presence of salmonella" in products with use by dates up to and including July 2.
The FSA added: "Symptoms caused by salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps."

- Tex Mex Dip Selection. Pack sizes: 210g and 428g
- Guacamole. Pack size: 163g
- Smokehouse Naked BBQ Beef Burrito Salad. Pack size: 300g
Sainsbury's
- Guacamole. Pack size: 170g
- Tex Mex Mini Multipack. Pack size: 240g
- Tex Mex Multipack. Pack size: 500g
- Old El Paso Mix 'N' Mex Chilled Dip. Pack size: 400g
Waitrose
- Tex Mex Multipack. Pack size: 400g
- Tex Mex Mini Multi. Pack size: 240g
- Reduced Fat Guacamole. Pack size: 200g
- Guacamole. Pack size: 200g
Co-op
- Guacamole. Pack size: 200g
- Mini Tex Mex Dip Selection. Pack size: 240g
The FSA advice added: "If you have bought any of the above products, do not eat it. Instead take it back to the retailer where you will be given a full refund."
