A FAMILY fun day will mark the relaunch of Halstead Conservative Club following an overhaul.
The club has undergone a refurbishment and will be opening next Saturday with a day full of activities.
The day will kick-off at noon with a bouncy castle, BBQ and a disco before the Dinosaurs band perform in the evening.
Club member, Wayne Smith, of Mill Bridge said: “We are hoping for a successful event after the club’s refurbishment.
“It is almost all finished now and it is just the bar left to be done and then us committee members will go in and tidy it up and get everything ready.
“We are hoping it proves to be popular and we get a good response after all the work that has been done. I think the club is starting to look good and hopefully everyone will enjoy the day and all the events we have organised.”
The club has been under refurbishment for the last two months.
The bar has been revamped and new male and female toilets have been installed.
The stage has been moved forward to increase the size and the snooker table has been moved downstairs.
