A beer festival went down a treat with real ale lovers.
The Colne Constitutional Club held the four day festival at the club in York Road, Earls Colne, over the bank holiday weekend.
There were 12 real ales, four ciders and two perries available, from breweries such as Bishop Nick, Adnams and Nethergate.
Live music from the Justin J Band entertained the festival-goers.
A fun day was held on the Saturday, with children’s entertainment, food, a table top sale and a scavenger hunt.
There was a quiz on Sunday night.
Secretary Jackie Jupp said: “It’s been really good.
“It’s the first one we have done but we have had about 400 people over the course of the weekend.
“We want to run it annually.”
