AN exhibition to celebrate 800 years since the signing of the Magna Carta is set to move to Hedingham Castle.
Villagers in Castle Hedingham have been able to view a facsimile of the fundamental legal document and an embroidery of the village’s former baron Robert de Vere at St Nicholas Church.
De Vere was one of 25 barons who forced King John sign the royal charter.
The exhibition will move to the castle on July 27 before heading to Braintree Museum in September.
