A catwalk show kicked off the annual vintage fashion month at Halstead Antiques Centre.
More than 40 guests – many dressed in fantastic vintage outfits themselves – enjoyed strawberries and cream and a glass of bucks fizz, followed by a 45 minute catwalk show on Monday.
Five local models, showed that vintage fashion can look great on women and men at any age.
From 1940s dresses and suits to 1960s Mary Quant mini-dresses to 1980's punk, every era and style was represented on the catwalk.
In true fashion show style, the event culminated with an original 1970s wedding dress, with the bride accompanied by a bridesmaid and various “guests” in stunning vintage outfits.
Following presentation of a £25 gift voucher for the best vintage-dressed member of the audience, guests were able to spend time shopping and snapping up beautiful vintage clothes and accessories from the various dealers at the Antiques Centre.
