Villagers from Castle Hedingham posed as characters from Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales to promote community celebrations of the anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta.
The cast of a forthcoming production of the famous work are holding copies of the newly published Magna Carta Walk leaflet that is now available from shops in the Hedinghams.
The inaugural between Clare Castle and Hedingham Castle will take place on Saturday, April 25.
It will start from Clare Castle Country Park, meeting at 9.30am.
The route, which largely comprises ancient tracks, is 8.5 miles long .
A certificate of participation will be given to everyone involved on the day.
