A TEEN was rushed to hospital after his car crashed into a wall in Halstead.
Essex Police, ambulance crews and a Basix volunteer doctor were sent to the junction of Sudbury Road and Churchill Avenue at 1.47am this morning.
They discovered a black Ford Focus had crashed into a brick garden wall.
The driver, a local 18-year-old, had got out of the car but later collapsed.
An ambulance service spokesman said the patient was breathing and suffering from lower back pain.
He was taken to Broomfield Hospital, where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road was closed until around 5.40am whilst the vehicle was recovered and the debris from the wall removed.
