Darran Lingley, owner of The Five Bells pub in Colne Engaine, decided to celebrate Shrove Tuesday with a challenge.
He used a 4ft wide paella pan, 30 eggs, 2.5 litres milk and two litres of flour to make the two pancakes.
He had to mix the batter in a bucket.
The Co-operative Union Ltd in Manchester made the world's largest pancake - measuring 15.01m (49ft 3in) in diameter and 2.5cm deep - in Rochdale on August 13, 1994.
