The 11 cyclists from Hedingham Sixth Form
Budding Victoria Pendletons and Chris Hoys raced round the Olympic velodrome.
The 11 teenagers from Hedingham Sixth Form, in Sible Hedingham, took a trip to Stratford as part of their A-Level PE course.
They rode at 45 degrees up the bank and saw Sir Dave Brailsford, the British team's coach, being interviewed.
Students Tom Bowles and Honor Rendall managed to get themselves filmed cycling around the track in the background.
