This is the first glimpse of how a multi-million pound community hub could look.
Halstead councillors have campaigned for a new community hall for 18 years.
But the costs have nearly doubled from an estimated £1.5million three years ago to between £2.5million and £2.7million.
The Halstead Community Centre Charitable Company, which is spearheading the project, said this was due to the lapse in time and the high standards expected of the building.
But they are determined to raise the cash.
Residents will finally be able to see the draft plans at Halstead Library on February 13 from 10am to 7pm and February 14 from 10am to 3pm.
