Woman fined more than £700 for dropping cigarette butt
A woman has been fined the cost of 184 cigarettes after dropping one cigarette butt on the floor.
Jasmine Grounsell, of Parkfields, Sible Hedingham, failed to attend Colchester Magistrates Court on January 16 and was found guilty in her absence.
She was fined £150 and ordered to pay costs of £567 and a victim surcharge of £20, totalling £737.
