Police want to hear from anyone with information about a burglary at a house in Liston, near Sudbury.

The break-in took place between 1pm on Thursday December 4 and 8.24am on Friday December 5.

Thieves had got into the property by smashing the glass in a hallway window before reaching through to undo the latch and climbing in.

A messy search of the house was made and a number of items were taken including: an LG 50inch flat screen television, two Technica flat screen TVs – a 40 inch and a 32 inch, a Hewlett Packard laptop, an Acer Aspire laptop, a Stihl strimmer, an Oregon chainsaw, a 32GB Apple iPod, a 16GB Apple iPod Nano, a Sony DVD player, a large Swiss Cuckoo clock, an air rifle, a six string acoustic guitar, jewellery and a number of ornaments and antiques.

The total value of the stolen property is estimated at more than £8,000.
