Halstead is not usually synonomous with horror.
But film-maker Dominic Morgan has chosen woods on the outskirts of town as a setting for his new horror film.
Sackbury Pitch tells the story of media students Alexa and Jez, and Alexa's boyfriend Will, as they film in Sackbury Pitch forest, where the remains of children at the fictitious St Margaret's Orphanage, who were killed for being unruly, were laid.
They are there to film the story of the 'demon of the wood' but soon find themselves becoming sacrificial offerings to the malevolent force.
Mr Morgan said: "We are filming purely in one location because we have got such a low budget.
"I have designed the whole project to be self contained. We are filming in a secret location on private land
