A Christmas campaign to give gifts to elderly and vulnerable residents is in its seventh year.
Gemma Frost, a former Braintree Council worker, runs the North Essex Christmas Gift Appeal in her spare time.
The appeal, which has been running since 2007, has seen 1,600 presents delivered to elderly and vulnerable residents.
Suggestions for gifts include blankets, calendars, hot water bottles, chocolates and winter bed socks. No handmade items can be accepted.
Gifts will be delivered on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
The drop-off points are Causeway House in Braintree, Witham Library, Ramsey Academy in Halstead, St Peter’s Primary School in Coggeshall and Waitrose in Sudbury.
Gifts can be donated from December 1 to 15.
Call Mrs Frost on 07826 523187 or e-mail gemgeroo1@hotmail.co.uk.
