A schoolboy made a surprising find during a village’s litter clean.
Harry Pinkney, ten, of Stisted, was helping out in the bi-annual village tidy up when he came across a two foot high bronze plaque which commemorates the First World War.
The Stisted Academy pupil said: “I was litter picking along Kings Lane in Stisted, near to where the first big bend is at the edge of the farmer’s field when I saw the plaque sticking out of the bushes."
