Hunky husband wins national competition to be immortalised as a spoon
A hunky husband has been immortalised as a spoon after being named one of Britain’s tastiest men.
A tiny torso of site manager Martin Kay, 48, appears on the spoon made by Oykos after wife Julie entered him for the national Tastiest Spoon competition in June.
Mr Kay, of Wethersfield Road, Sible Hedingham, spent the day with Amanda Holden, the face of Oykos, for a winners’ photo shoot earlier this month.
The father-of-two received 1,447 votes and came second out of 135 entrants to the competition.
He said: "It’s certainly something to hand down to the grandkids one day.
"To be honest I’ll be using it as an ornament because you wouldn’t get much on it as a spoon."
