Thieves have targeted a sports pavilion for the second time in a year by breaking in to steal alcoholic and soft drinks.
Burglars smashed the door of the club in Mill Road, Helions Bumpstead, on August 15 and left the pavilion’s television untouched in favour of the refreshments.
Chairman and Treasurer of Helions Bumpstead Cricket Club Michael Claydon, 50, said the club had also had three lawnmowers stolen earlier this year.
