What appears to be a dismantled shed has been dumped by the entrance to Chalkney Woods.
The pile of wood appeared last week at the entrance to the woods, in Earls Colne, and is believed to have been left by fly tippers, who dump rubbish illegally rather than in an authorised dump.
Earls Colne Parish Councillor Richard Curtis said: “I haven’t heard about this incident, but personally I think that fly tipping is awful.
“It is the land owner’s responsibility to now clean it up which can cost them a lot of money."
