A baby and toddler group in Halstead is under threat after a sudden lack of volunteers.
Mums who run the National Childbirth Trust’s Bumps, Babies and Toddler group at Halstead Baptist Church, in Hedingham Road, are desperately seeking volunteers to help manage the group otherwise it will close.
The group, which runs from 10am until 12pm each Monday, provides invaluable postnatal support to new mums and babies, a cup of tea and a friendly chat and play time for toddlers.
Volunteers are needed to help open the church, set out toys, make tea and coffee for mums and pack away afterwards on a rota basis.
