Drivers say badly parked cars are clogging up a busy village high street.
Parish councillors in Sible Hedingham are trying to get yellow lines in some parts of Swan Street.
Sally Glen, chair of the parish council’s transport committee, said: “We are aware of the parking issues in several places in the town and we have looked at putting double yellow lines from the doctor’s surgery to Sugar Loaves along Swan Street, but we are restricted by red tape."
