A teenager who suffered mutliple injuries after being thrown from her horse is back in the saddle - all thanks to her safety gear.
Angela Innes, 15, landed on her neck after her horse Paddy got spooked and threw her off in a Greenstead Green byway at about 5.30pm, Tuesday 24 June.
Luckily, the Honeywood school pupil is now making a swift recovery but says her injuries could have been a lot more serious without her helmet.
She said: “I want to tell people that both head and body protection are really necessary because you just don’t know what going to happen.”
