A popular takeaway has gone through to the grand finals of a national competition.
Spice Zone, in Halstead High Street, impressed judges at regional level and they will now cook up a dish in 60 seconds in front of a panel of judges for the grand final, taking place in the House of Commons on Tuesday.
The national competition, which raises money for charity, is held each year to find the best South Asian restaurant in the country.
Managing director Forhad Hussain said: “I would also like to thank the honourable MP Brooks Newmark for the nomination to the competition and would express my sincere gratitude to our customers for the support that has been given over the decade.”
