A brave primary school pupil has cut her hair off after her mum was diagnosed with cancer.

Kristina Ince, 47, was diagnosed with a benign pancreatic tumour in 2010 and underwent an operation to remove it.

However, it returned and on June 2 she had a second operation to have it removed.

Despite this, she is still running the CATS Claws and Tails Rescue and Rehoming centre from her home in Gainsford End, near Toppesfield.

Her daughter, Kez Scrace, 11, shaved her hair off and donated the hair to The Little Princess Trust, a charity which makes wigs for those who lose their hair due to cancer treatment.
