"Town deserves better than dilapidated skate park"
Halstead skate park is one of the worst in the area, a keen skater has claimed.
Matt Woodison, 21, of Ramsey Road, has been skating for about seven years and believes that the skate park in Ramsey Road, Halstead is in such a bad state of repair that it is dangerous.
The former Ramsey School pupil who is now a salesman in Braintree, said: “People always say to others not to go to the skate park in Halstead because it is so bad.
“It is certainly one of the worst I have skated on in the area, and we tend to go elsewhere because it is awful.”
