A comedy farce is being performed by Sudbury Dramatic Society.
Funny Money, a play by Ray Cooney, centres on Henry Perkins, an insignificant man whose life gets complicated very quickly when he mistakenly picks up the wrong suitcase, and finds it is stuffed with cash.
His attempts to hang on to the money are complicated by the intervention of two very different police sergeants, two friends who have arrived expecting dinner, a taxi driver with attitude and finally "Mr Big" in search of his missing loot.
Funny Money is on at The Quay Theatre from July 8-12 at 7.45pm and tickets are available from The Quay Theatre Box Office on 01787 374745. They cost £9, or are £8 for Friends of the Theatre. On the Tuesday, all tickets are £7.
Pre theatre suppers are available on the Friday and Saturday nights.
