A schoolgirl has landed a role on a music video for a singing duo who were finalists on TV’s Britains Got Talent.
Thirteen-year-old Cerys Wrigley-Moss, of The Crescent, Gestingthorpe, attends Hedingham School on weekdays but it is through her time at Sylvia Young Theatre School in London on Saturdays that she was offered the part to perform with Bars and Melody.
Last Sunday, Cerys spent all day acting alongside pint-sized performers Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan, who came third in the ITV talent show, in the music video for their new single Hope.
After the show the duo signed an initial one-single deal with Simon Cowell’s record label, Syco.
Cerys’s mum Karen, 42, a homelessness prevention officer, said: “It was absolutely brilliant, she was there for the whole day and she loved every minute of it."
