A care service has been closed by its owners after it failed to improve.
Two Counties Community Care, based in Brent Hall Road, Finchingfield, provided daily care to people living in their own homes in the area.
But inspections by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) found all four areas assessed - care and welfare of service users, safeguarding from abuse, staffing and monitoring - required improvement.
Following the publication of the watchdog’s report earlier this year, Two Counties was also fined £4,000 for not having a registered manager.
Despite investing in the service, owner MiHomecare, a care home provider with branches across the UK, decided to shut down the business because quality and perfomance standards were not raised.
