Halstead shopkeepers are being encouraged to get creative with their window displays.
The theme of the annual town window competition for traders is commemorating the First World War.
Entry forms must be submitted by June 27 and judging will take place on July 11 from 9am - 12pm.
Chairman of the Halstead Chamber of Trade Anne-Maree Robertson said: “The standard of entries is always very high and it really enhances and adds value to the town overall, particularly in the summer.
“The efforts and attention to detail in their displays is always very much appreciated.”
The shop with the best internal display will be awarded the chamber cup, while the best external floral display winner will receive the chamber shield.
All entrants will receive a certificate.
If any shopkeepers would like to take part and have not received entry forms, Mrs Robertson can be contacted on 07960 594900.
