Travel back in time to the 1960s in a themed event.

On June 29 the East Anglian Railway Museum, Station Road, Chappel, is holding a 1960s living history day, with a display of vintage vehicles and scooters, a themed restaurant serving hot and cold food and drink and a pop-up beer and cider bar.

There will also be a vintage bus running free short return trips to neighbouring villages and back to the station, a vintage street and unlimited rides on the steam hauled freight train.

Those over 18 can also drive the railway’s miniature train for £5.

The day starts at 10am and ends at 4.30pm, with tickets costing £5.50 for adults and £5 for seniors, children costing £2.75 and under fives getting in for free.
