Freeport travellers set to be evicted

First published in News

Five travelling families were set to be given eviction notices this morning after pitching up next to Braintree Freeport.

They arrived on Friday on a small piece of green space between the shopping village and the railway line, opposite the coach park.

Freeport manager Josef O’Sullivan said: “They haven’t caused any trouble and we gave them bins and they have been tidy."

so they are being encouraged by this Josef! If it was somebody who had genuinely been made redundant and lost everything theywould be arrested and treated like vermin this lot should be moved off back to Ireland where they probably come from at gunpoint to match the gunpower they always have on theire sites

UFB! Doesn't BDC have tow trucks? TOW the bastards out of there and impound the vehicles. People still inside? Have the rozzers to arrest 'em first! Show these vagrants (that's what they are) that Braintree means business. Watch them avoid the area after that!

(Now, there's a slogan people can get behind! "Braintree means Business")
