Police continue hunt for drink driver following tip off
Police are continuing their hunt for a suspected drink driver after a tip off.
Police were called to Queen Street in Castle Hedingham at about 11pm last night following reports that a man may have been drink driving.
When officers arrived, the man had left a black Vauxhall vehicle.
The police helicopter was used to search for him and was seen hovering over the Sible Hedingham area at one point.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “Enquiries are continuing today to locate the driver.”
Police urge anyone who suspects a drink driver to call 101.
