A RESCUE cat named Houdini has been caged for his own good after he cheated death by escaping from a suspected rabbit trap.
The black and white moggy was found in May with a deep wound under his armpit in Belchamp Otten, near Sible Hedingham.
He was taken to Catley Cross Veterinary Clinic where he was operated on and placed in a cage to stop him opening the stitches, but he managed to break free and needed further surgery.
