Inconsiderate parking is driving a shop manager round the bend.
Melissa Stoker, 32, a manager at the Cutting Shed hairdressers, Weavers Court, Halstead, is being left frustrated by people who are not customers at the salon, the icing shop or the blacksmith’s using the car park, which is the property of the shops’ owner.
Ms Stoker, of Albert Road, Braintree, said: “It’s been getting worse over the last week, I think from people spreading the word about parking there.
“It is a private car park, though, and there are signs up telling people but they still park there.
“There are three car parks as close to the town centre as our one so it is very frustrating that people park here instead of in them, as it affects my customers and means they have nowhere to park.”
