Halstead Gazette: Appeal after alleged hit and run Appeal after alleged hit and run

A Halstead mum is appealing for witnesses after £3,000 worth of damage was caused to her car in an alleged hit and run crash.

Sally Smith, 46, of Colchester Road, was only ten minutes from home when the accident happened at about 1.40pm on 30 May.

The lorry, which she can only remember as being white with red writing, did about £3,000 worth of damage to her white 2011-reg BMW.

She is now appealing for drivers who saw the accident to come forward as witnesses.

Mrs Smith has reported the incident to the Police and any witnesses should ring police on 101.
