A Halstead hospital building which was donated by the Courtauld family is set to be turned into flats.
On Monday, Braintree Council allowed permission for the house, which was used for the dentistry part of the hospital but has been left redundant for years, to be turned into two flats.
Members of Halstead Town Council did also not raise objections to the application to change the building from medical to residential use.
